Podiatry

Mount Lawley Hospital's podiatry service provides specialist assessment and treatment for patients who are at increased risk of foot and lower limb complications.

The service aims to:

• reduce and prevent foot ulceration
• support wound healing and prevent infection
• reduce the risk of hospital admission and readmission
• support safe discharge from hospital
• reduce the risk of foot or lower limb amputation.

Podiatry services may be provided to eligible inpatients and outpatients, including people experiencing foot complications associated with chronic health conditions.
