Accreditation

Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group participates in the Australian Commission on Safety & Quality in Healthcare, National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards Program with assessments conducted by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS), a leading healthcare accreditation agency.

Accreditation assessments are an external review of our systems, processes and performance against the eight NSQHS standards. These standards include: 

• Clinical Governance Standard 
• Partnering with Consumers Standard 
• Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard 
• Medication Safety Standard 
• Comprehensive Care Standard 
• Communicating for Safety Standard 
• Blood Management Standard
• Recognising and Responding to Acute Deterioration Standard. 

Accreditation assessments occur in 3-year cycles and are an opportunity for staff to showcase all the good work they are doing to provide high-quality care to our patients.
