Mount Lawley Hospital (MLH) works closely with a range of healthcare professionals to provide excellence in service delivery and care for patients. MLH recognise the importance of maintaining positive relationships with healthcare professionals in the community to ensure accessibility to quality services for all patients.

This section provides information and resources to assist healthcare professionals, external to the hospital, when interacting with MLH.

Pathways

Visit Clinician Assist WA - Login for information on patient referral and management pathways for services in the primary, community and acute health care settings in WA. 

  • Accreditation Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group participates in the Australian Commission on Safety & Quality in Healthcare, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards Program.
  • Excluded Procedures Outpatient Referrals While the WA Health Excluded Procedures precludes procedures performed for cosmetic or other non-medical reasons, procedures which meet an identified clinical need to improve the health of the patient may be undertaken in public hospitals.
  • Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Service The Geriatrics and Rehabilitation service at Mount Lawley Hospital is comprised of inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Library and Information Service All East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) staff can access the Library and Information Service.
  • Mental Health Services Ursula Frayne Unit (UFU) is a 12-bed authorised older adult mental health inpatient ward located at Mount Lawley Hospital for people aged 65 and above (and 45 years and above for Aboriginal persons).
  • Outpatient Information for Health Professionals Outpatient appointments are made following a referral from a General Practitioner (GP), other Doctors or following discharge from hospital for further treatment.
